We have always loved Aloes, which are native to very dry regions of Nothern Africa, Madagascar, and the Arabian Peninsula, as they are so happy growing on a Sunny window sill in the house. This is a cultivar of Zebrina selected for its very vibrant orange leaf margins and flowers. It also has raised green and orange patterns of variegation on its leaves which are very attractive. Easy to keep, as it requires very infrequent watering, over time it will develop 'pups' around the sides of the main plant creating interlocking rossettes of these amazing leaves. These are particularly fine examples of this plant as the orange on the leaf margins is particularly vibrant.
